猛暑お見舞い申し上げます。香緒里さんのブログで紹介されたイブラヒムさんのエピソードや講演会の話がすごくよかったです。最近正会員なのに何もお手伝いできていなくてすみません。イブラヒムさんの関西の講演会の記事が日経新聞に載っていました。他のNGOの講演会でもそうですが、新聞に紹介されると募金が集まるけど、講演会場に反NGOの人が来るので要注意ですね。彼らは攻撃的な質問をして心優しい参加者の気持ちをつぶすためにわざわざ来るんですよね。相澤さんは戦場の修羅場もバッシングの嵐も経験しているからとてもタフで粘り強いですが、今度のNHKのことも全く同じで、本当にやり切れない気持ちになるんですよね。私は、小林よしのり氏なんかと歴史やコトバが共有できているとはとても思えないですね。ヒトラーは様々な本を読んで社会主義や国粋主義をめちゃくちゃに切り張りして唖然とするような漫画チックな世界観を作り出し、知識人は大笑いして相手にしなかったけど、彼に共鳴したドイツ青年や婦人たちが大勢いたおかげで議員に当選しました。
他の政治政党や知識人の集会にナチス党員を参加させ、集会を監視したり潰したりしながら、政権政党にのし上がっていったわけです。
私たちが右翼の集会に参加するような無駄な動きは絶対ありえないけど、彼らは人道支援もするこなく危険も冒さず、とにかく暇で、にもかかわらず深く勉強もせず、掲示板に意味不明の落書きや中傷をすることぐらいしか能がない。
でも、イブラヒムさんの講演会に来て、彼の話に耳を傾けたら私たちと分かり合えるのでしょうか？
ありえないような気がしますが・・・。

イブラヒム講演でそういう人来ました？そうですねえ、全くないとは言えませんが、イベント会場まで来る人はかなり少ないと思います。バッシングに関しては、慣れたとはいえ確かにちょっとは凹みますよね。人間ですから。

まあ私も彼の作品を全て読んだ訳ではないので完全に共有できているとは思っていませんよ。ただ特にイラク戦争に関する彼の言説はかなり共感できます。

そこはイブラヒムの力の見せ所でしょうか。いずれにしても、意見の違う人と人とが出会って、まずはお互いの話をきくところから始めるのが大切だと思います。何もすぐに分かり合えなくてもいいと思うのです。違う意見を持つ人たちが対話を重ねることで、お互い見えてくるものがあると思うのです。
ところで「とりちゃん」というハンドルネームでこれまでここに投稿されてませんよね？すみません、正会員と言われて誰だかわからず驚いてしまいました。
